4 3/4" (12 cm.) One-piece all-bisque Kewpie with right-glancing eyes, wears a black parade helmet with fancy gold decorated and red-trimmed mortarboard, right arm extended with cupped fist for holding a flag, black belt with attached gold- handled silver sword, red-edged chest strap with attached ammunition box at the back. With red paper label "Kewpie Hero", marked O'Neill on feet and c. (in circle). Germany, circa 1915.
