Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) All-bisque standing Kewpie with right-glancing eyes, slightly bow-legged, is posed with tan valise behind his back, the handle held in Kewpie's right hand, and a brown-handled black umbrella in his right arm. A white bisque Easter egg is attached at the back. The novelty was created for the Easter season with use as candy container and is quite rare. Slight roundness at egg rim. Marked O'Neill (incised). Germany, circa 1915.
