4 1/2" (12 cm.) All-bisque seated Kewpie with down-tilted head and left-glancing eyes as though looking at the spider that is crawling on his left toes, with outstretched curved arms. The figure was offered in the 1912 Kewpie catalog of Borgfeldt as model 4844C. Marked O'Neill and c. (in circle). Germany, circa 1912.
