4 3/4" (12 cm.) All-bisque seated Kewpie with right-glancing eyes, clasping an oversized pen in its arms, is posed at the edge of a white porcelain tray that is inscribed in classic O'Neill penmanship "With Kewpie Love from Rose O'Neill". Germany, circa 1917.
