4" (10 cm.) All-bisque seated Kewpie with right-glancing eyes, right arm outstretched, open book perched upon his left knee with scribbled "writing" on the pages. Marked c. (in circle). The model appeared in the 1912 Borgfeldt catalog of Kewpies as #4847. Germany, circa 1912.
