Description
10 3/4" diam. (17 cm.) A round porcelain cake dish with double handles is decorated in shades of blue and green portraying Kewpies playing around a country pond. A goose appears to be chasing the Kewpies. Kewpie characters include Wag the Chief, The Cook. The Carpenter, Always Wears His Overshoes, and Careful of Her Voice in various amusing scenes. Also included are four small cake plates and rectangular dish. Each marked Rose O'Neill Germany and Royal Rudolstadt Prussia. Germany, circa 1915.
