3 3/4" (9 cm.) One-piece all-bisque Kewpie with attached blue egg-shaped vase at the back, wears a black helmet with elaborate gold insignia and mortarboard with red underside and feather trim. Kewpie holds a black sword at his left side, and is saluting with his right hand. Germany, circa 1915.
