21" (53 cm.) Gleaming ash-blonde wig in original coiffure featuring bangs and swept up hair captured in an elaborate cluster of curls at her back crown which are accented with a black lace and rhinestone coronet, one elongated eye lash, hand-painted distinctive facial features including eye shadow and rich lips, dramatic rhinestone beauty mark on left cheek. Wearing original pink satin sheath-shaped gown whose fitted bodice is overlaid with rhinestone-stuffed black lace, and with black tulle and lace overskirts, stockings, pink snap-buckle slippers, three rhinestone bracelets, pink hat box with curlers. Near mint condition. Alexander, 1951, known as "Champs Elysees" or "Lady with Rhinestone Beauty Mark", the doll was showcased in Madame Alexander's Portrait Mystery series presented in 1951, and she bears the Fashion Academy gold metal tag from that year.
