Each 2" (5 cm.) Each is all-bisque seated Kewpie with right and left-glancing eyes, one holding a brown-covered book on his lap and a stack of green books at his back, the other with an oversized brown pencil in his arms. Marked c (in circle). Germany, circa 1915.
