Description
4 1/2" (12 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie is posed standing alongside a bisque arch-shaped clock, as though clinging to its side, its head nestled against the clock. The clock is painted shades of green with decorative bluet flowers and green leaves. The clock frame is brass. Marked 9928 and with Goebel crown symbol. The very rare model of Kewpie clock is virtually undocumented in Kewpie literature. Germany, circa 1912.
