Description
3 1/2" (9 cm) larger. Each is all-bisque Kewpie, posed with mandolin clasped in both arms, having right-glancing eyes. The smaller seated Kewpie also has two green-bound books tucked behind his back. Both marked c. (in circle). The standing Kewpie with mandolin appeared in the 1912 Borgfeldt catalog of Kewpies as model 4854. Germany, circa 1915.
