17" (43 cm.) Each has art-plaster sculpted head of adult lady with oval face posed in very expressive manner, long slender throat and modeled bosom, artistically-painted face with side-glancing eyes, closed mouth, mohair wig in soft long curls, bisque arms, attached to wire armature base and wearing costumes of 1910 era. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Baitz (incised back shoulderplate). Comments: Lilly Baitz, circa 1920, from a series of fashionable lady’s sculpted by the artist and produced in her own studios. Value Points: well-preserved dolls exemplifying period styles and fashion by the noted German artist.
