5 1/4"l. (13 cm) 4"h (10 cm.) All-bisque Kewpie is seated upon an oval bisque base, alongside a yellow baby chick with outspread wings and an open-top bisque Easter egg with decorated garland of flowers all-around. Kewpie has left-glancing eyes and arms held backward as though frightened of the baby chick. Marked c (in circle). The model was offered in the 1912 Borgfeldt catalog of Kewpies as model 4844 and is exceptionally rare. Germany, circa 1912.
