Description
Bleuette,with bisque head,brown glass sleep
eyes,brunette human hair wig and pate,jointed
composition body. The doll,27 cm,is marked "SFBJ
Paris 1" on the head,"2" on torso,and "1" on the
feet,and is wearing a hand knit orange and cream
woolen ensemble comprising one-piece shift
dress,cardigan,cap,long orange coat-sweater,
(mended) woolen stockings,brown leatherette
shoes. The doll is still preserved in its
original cardboard shipping box with Gaultier-
Langereau label on the lid,along with 1919
postmark. Circa 1920.
