16" (41 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, plump face with double chin, dark brown painted hair with short tousled curls framing the face, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, kid body with one-piece shapely torso and legs, stitch-jointed kid arms. Condition: generally excellent, some darkening of very sturdy body. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: charming shy smile, rare brown hair, wearing early (worn) plaid costume and woven cap, undergarments, leather boots.
