Description
Bleuette,with bisque socket head,blue glass set
eyes,original Bleuette wig and pate,composition
jointed body. The doll,27 cm.,is marked "SFBJ 60
Paris 8/0" on the back of head,"2" on
torso,and "1" on feet,and is wearing a vintage
costume,possibly handmade from Bleuette
patterns,identical in styling to "Passe-Partout"
(see #67) of grey twill with green wool plaid
trim,along with matching shift style dress and
cloche,original undergarments,white knit
stockings,white kidskin shoes marked "2". The
doll is from the 1915/1918 era.
