Description
the two-piece ensemble appeared as costume #1 in
the Winter 1937/1938 catalog,comprising a green
velvet dress with abstract floral patterns,sateen
twill yoke and collar,red button,with matching
cap edged in yellow stitching. The dress was
originally sold with a belt (missing). It is a
fabric variation of the Bleuette costume shown on
the cover of this book and at right,and was
advertised as being offered in various velvet
designs.
