22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted short curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four porcelain upper teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition toddler body jointed at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: Poerzellanfabrik Burggrub Princess Elizabeth 6 1/2 Made in Germany. Comments: Schoneau and Hoffmeister, circa 1930, portrait of the young English Princess Elizabeth at about age 3. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque with lustrous patina, well-modeled features, original body.
