Description
14" (36 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, bald pate with sculpted grey hair at sides and back of head, thick sculpted brows, enamel eyes, pronounced nose, tinted beard stubble, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green wrinkled stockings and black shoes with red buckles. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
