6 1/2" (17 cm.) All-bisque attached figures portray a standing woman, her arm resting on the back of her friend who is posed seated on steps, each with painted facial features, closed mouth with slight smiling expression, mohair wig, painted slippers, and each with (frail) original factory woven turban and swim suit. Excellent condition. Germany, Galluba and Hoffman, circa 1910, the double figure presentation is very rare to find.
