Seated upon a cast metal tricycle with large spoked wheels and original red and black stenciled paint is a bisque-headed man with brown sculpted hair, goatee and moustache, with painted blue eyes, brows, and closed mouth, and wearing original silk costume and cap. When wound, the tricycle moves forward and in circles, and the rider appears to turn the pedals. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism functions well. Comments: Vichy, circa 1865.
