Standing upon a velvet covered base is a bisque-headed doll with blue glass eyes, dramatic eye decoration, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair, long slender torso and legs of carton, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, costumed in rich silk and brocades as a fancy Court dandy. When wound, he turns his head from side to side, nods forward, blinks his eyes, and alternately lifts the walking stick in his right arm, and the rich gilt lorgnette in his left hand. Condition: generally excellent, old faint hairline at back of head, mechanism and music function well.
