22"l (56 cm.). A wooden ballroom piano is richly finished in gold leaf with hand-painted designs of frolicking cherubs and Fragonard style paintings. The piano was designed for a child's play with working keyboard, and hinged compartment that contains a xylophone (wooden mallet included),and also has keywind music box that functions well. The hinged lid reveals a large hollow compartment at the back that indicates the piano was originally presented as a candy box, later to be used for play purposes. A rare and superbly preserved and painted accessory, perfect for doll display.
