8"l. (20 cm.) A paper mache candy container in the shape of a sabot style shoe has a maroon silk sack protruding from the top, and a bisque head, bisque arms and bisque bare feet, protruding from five cut-outs in the shoe as though the doll is bursting out. The cutouts are edged with red velvet. French, circa 1885.
