14" (36 cm.) Dark brown complexioned bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, dark brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, black mohair wig over cork pate, brown kid fashion body with shapely waist and one piece shapely limbs, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (head) F.G. (shoulder plate). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1880. Value Points: rare brown-complexioned poupee wears lovely ivory silk fashion gown with extended train and trim, undergarments, straw bonnet.
