Walnut armoire mirrored double front doors has fancily carved crest and apron, and an elaborately fitted interior comprising tin and cast iron toy sewing machine, bobbins, bone sewing tools, samples, lace, threads, and other accessories for teaching needlework to a young child. A remarkable and well-preserved early toy as seen in French department store Etrennes catalogs. French, circa 1890.
