Description
18" (46 cm.) Brunette side-parted hair with arranged curls, walking style body. Wearing elaborate white brocade court gown with blue sash of the garter trimmed with jewels, taffeta hooped petticoat, panties, stockings, ivory satin front-snap shoes, white finger-less gloves, jeweled silver tiara crown, rhinestone ball earrings, four rhinestone and jeweled bracelets, and purple velvet cape edged with white faux fur and gilt metallic threads. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander. Excellent condition. Alexander, model 2025, with original box stamped 2025, from the Beaux Arts Creations of 1953, inspired by the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in that year.
