Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged shoulder plate, articulation allowing the head to tilt forward, and from side to side based on the Dehors deposed system, pale blue/grey enamel eyes with spiral threading and darker blue outer rims, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, very delicate mauve eyeshadow, closed mouth with accented and shaded lips, pierced ears, French bisque body with gusset- jointed hips and knees, bisque forearms, lovely maroon silk gown, bonnet, undergarments, unusual green velvet heeled shoes. Condition: generally excellent, bisque forearms are not original. Marks: 7 (front shoulderplate). Comments: circa 1867, maker unknown. Value Points: beautiful poupee with exquisite decoration.
