20" (51 cm.) Light amber tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes in side-slant sockets, painted lashes, black brush-stroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, pierced ears, black mohair wig in upswept fashion, amber tinted composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1199 Germany dep 8. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: rarer Asian model with superb detail of sculpting and fine dewy patina of bisque, original body and body finish, antique flowered silk kimono.
