8" (20 cm.) Wooden desk with mahogany finish has two bottom drawers, fancy spindled sides, S-shaped desk front, beaded trim, fancy crest, and is decorated with elaborately stenciled scrolls in gold leaf enclosed red and blue colors. French, circa 1880. Excellent condition.
