18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, deeply sculpted and painted facial features, shaded blue eyes with white eye dots, black and incised upper eyeliner, short tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume, undergarments, and boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinardt,"Gretchen" from the art character series, circa 1909. Value Points: especially fine example of the model with superb sculpting, fine lustrous patina of bisque, original wig, body and body finish.
