Description
11" (28 cm.) man standing. 10" chairs. Polychromed terra cotta head, bald pate with sculpted curls above the ears, enamel inset eyes, slightly-parted lips, teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, wearing original costume including laced vest, jacket, short pants, leggings, scarf, and cap, and posed seated in a wooden framed chair (the pair of chairs are included). Excellent condition, man can be posed standing if desired. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
