Description
5" x 3 1/2". A firm-sided box in the shape of a book with embossed designs and title opens to reveal hollowed interior lined with purple velvet and fitted with miniature sewing tools such as gold needlecase, gold thimble, scissors, needs, bone tools, mirror, three little boxes with engravings, thread. French, circa 1870. Excellent condition.
