25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, impressed dimples at lip corners, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 14 JDK 241 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915,the model appears as an older child version of Hilda, but is much more rarely found. Value Points: elusive and lovely character doll with finest quality of bisque and painting, original signed body and body finish, fine antique costume comprising dress, undergarments, stockings, shoes, bonnet.
