23" (57 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, shaded blue eyes with decorative glaze, thick black upper eyeliner, incised eyeliner, tapered one stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded lips, brunette fleeced hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique boy's costume including blue velvet coat, britches, argyle socks, leather shoes and cap. Condition: generally excellent, few typical wig pulls. Marks: K*R 114 57. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909. Value Points: wonderful large size allowing full expression of the pouty features, very full lips and impressed fret lines, choice bisque, original body and body finish, wonderful costume.
