Description
6" (15 cm.) h. table. Mahogany trestle style table with carved detail has hinged lid which opens to storage compartment for papers or sewing materials. Resting atop the cabinet is a richly-gilded cast metal figural depicting a little girl bent over a wash tub in which her doll is submerged. Lying in a bowl alongside are the other dolls, posed in a topsy-turvy manner, awaiting their bath. Excellent condition. French, late 19th century.
