21" (55 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips,blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 55. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the gentle-featured model was a transitional doll between their art character series and classic dolly series, circa 1912. Value Points: most endearing expression is enhanced by fine quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish, beautiful antique lace and rose cotton costume, undergarments, leather shoes.
