Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, exaggerated painting of facial features, long pointy nose, mouth with hinged jaw, painted teeth, blonde mohair wig, bellows torso under muslin costume, wooden hands and feet. When bellows squeezed in torso, the jester blinks his eyes, mouth opens and closes and hands clap the cymbals that he holds. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Zinner and Sohne, circa 1890. Value Points: rare and amusing toy with three movements, wearing original factory costume.
