14" circ (36 cm.) Solid domed earthenware head with flanged neck, dark brown glass sleep eyes, ochre eye shadow, fringed brows, open mouth with smiling expression, two porcelain upper teeth, row of lower porcelain teeth, tongue, muslin body, composition arms and legs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7437/45 Germany. Comments: designed by American artist, Jeanne Orsini, circa 1925, made in Germany. Value Points: rare model with most distinctive expression.
