Description
4" doll. A bisque socket head doll with blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, and brows, open mouth, blonde mohair wig, five piece body with painted shoes and shoes and wearing a lace edged muslin chemise, is presented in a glass front display box with lace edging, along with her trousseau: rose silk dress, panties, hankie, cap, bebe stays, and cape, each lavishly trimmed with lace or rose silk ribbons. Marks: Halbig K*R 12 (doll) SFBJ (stylized lettering on paper label on base of box). Comments: for the French market, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful presentation box with well- detailed original costumes, unplayed with condition, with rare original label
