Description
10 1/2" (27 cm.) doll. A double sided paper doll with chemise and curved right arm with six exquisite double-sided gowns, seven double-sided collars or shoulder wraps, one long pair of gloves, and ten double-sided bonnets with elaborate arrangements of hair. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1850. Value Points: extremely rare early paper doll made notable for its bonnets with variations of coiffure, and its original box whose lid depicts a little girl playing with the paper doll.
