Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thick painted eye liner, painted lashes, slightly modeled brush-stroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique whitewear costume, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16 1/2 made in Germany 16 _ 171 7 (head) Excelsior Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful dolly-face model has choice bisque, original wig, pate, body, body finish.
