22" (56 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes with out rich spiral threading, thick black eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig, French composition and wooden body with eight-loose-ball joints, metal hands. Condition: generally excellent, some retouch to fingers. Marks: P. 4 D. Comments: Petit et Dumoutier, circa 1884. Value Points: rare bebe in wonderful large size with unusually pretty face, choice bisque, beautiful eyes, original body, lovely antique dress, undergarments, leather shoes.
