27" (68 cm.) A firm-bodied goat with brown and white fur covered body and flannel-covered head has glass inset eyes, horns, wooden legs with black hooves, red harness, and is mounted upon an elaborate iron frame that converts to rocking or wheeled shape, and has rod that causes the goat to bleat when rocked back and forth. French, circa 1870, the goat form is rare to find, this example on elaborate early frame.
