Description
14" (36 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, dark brown complexion, black sculpted curls in front of ears, black painted pate, thick black brows, enamel eyes, anguished expression, open mouth, two rows of teeth, tow-wrapped posable body, wooden lower arms and one leg, wearing ragged clothes, holding cup, and with wooden crutch. Excellent condition, some paint wear on leg. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
