Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with lightly accented pale lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig in elaborate original coiffure over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed fashion body with shapely waist and derriere, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1870. Value Points: outstanding poupee with superb bisque and painting, very sturdy original body, wearing original silk gown with rich black lace and black bead trim, extended train, detachable floor-length sash, undergarments, boots.
