Description
13" (33 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with very dark carved hair in coronet braid around the head, painted dark brown eyes, black upper eyeliner, painted brows, closed mouth with hint of smile, blushed cheeks, all-wooden body with dowel- jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Swiss, circa 1920. Value Points: especially beautiful face with wonderfully carved hair and very detailed costume and bonnet.
