15" (38 cm.) The wood framed chairs with richly carved columns and medallions are finished in gold leaf, and have delicate silk upholstery, comprising larger arm chair with padded arm rests, and smaller side chair. With remnants of original paper labels on base of each. Probably late 19th century.
