Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling and plump cheeks, dramatic large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and multi- feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, Steiner composition fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Sie C. 7 Bourgoin. Comments: Jules Steiner, Series C, circa 1884. Value Points: spectacular large model of the C series bebe, with superb bisque and luminous eyes, original body and body finish, lavish antique silk and lace dress, luxe bonnet, undergarments, shoes and socks.
