Description
11" (29 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted long curly lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig over original plaster pate, all bisque body with loop-jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, tiny eye rim flake at left eye socket, some paint rubs on fingers and toes. Marks: made in Germany b 7 211 JDK. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: rarer large size of the all-bisque baby with original wig, pate, body parts, and including antique hand-knit costume.
